WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Democrats sought to achieve the higher hand within the gun debate with President Donald Trump and Senate Republicans on Tuesday, demanding fast motion on background checks and suggesting that cash for Trump’s border wall be used to battle home terrorism.
