WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Mexican Overseas Minister Marcelo Ebrard stated after a White Home assembly on Tuesday that there was a “important lower” in U.S.-bound immigration by Mexico, particularly from Central America, and he expects the pattern to proceed.

Ebrard met U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, and had a quick alternate with President Donald Trump, to evaluate progress in efforts to curb a surge in Central American migrants.
